It's World Book Day! Here are some of the things our students have been up to:
Reading in the Staff Room
We were very happy to welcome students Luca, Year 7 and Olivia, Year 9 into the staff room this morning - they shared an extract from a book they love.
Staff also shared their recommended reads and prepared for DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) in lesson time.
A Reading Session at our Trust Primary School
It was a pleasure to visit Brightwell cum Sotwell CofE Primary School this morning - selected students from Wallingford School delivered a reading session with the primary students. It was lovely to see the interaction between students at different stages of their reading experience.
A big thank you to Poppy (Year 7), George and Sophie (Year 8), Ruby and Klay (Year 9), Ornella (Year 10), Luke (Year 11), and Madeha, Danny and Imogen (Year 12).
