It is time for Year 9 students to choose their options! A PDF of the presentation from the Year 9 Options Evening is below, along with the options booklet with all the courses and more information.
We know that some students would like to choose two very similar subjects. We tend to guide students away from taking subjects that are very similar as it can narrow options at a later stage.
- It is not possible for students to take both:
- Resistant Materials and Product Design
- Music and Music Technology
- For the following subject combinations, taking both courses is possible, but it is important to consider whether this combination would reduce the breadth of skills / content covered overall, compared to a choice of more varied subjects:
- Art and Photography
- Computer Science and IT
