Teaching is an extremely rewarding vocation with so much potential for personal development and many different career opportunities; however we know it is not right for everyone. We think one of the best ways to decide whether or not teaching might be the right career path for you is to get some classroom experience.

Wallingford School is one of the partner schools working closely with the Oxfordshire Teaching Schools Alliance offering up to 3 day placements for those that wish to experience classroom teaching and wider school life.

Placements are typically three days long with the majority of the time spent in the classroom in lessons; however there are also opportunities to observe tutor time, talk to other staff about daily life in a school, work with teachers across a wide age range and potentially see extracurricular activities.
