Wallingford School is an oversubscribed, successful 11-18 school with enthusiastic students, supportive staff and excellent facilities. We are among the most successful schools in the country for progress in English and Maths. In 2024, 71% of our students achieved at least a Grade 4 in English and Maths at GCSE; 54% achieved at least a Grade 5 in English and Maths and 30% of all grades achieved were at Grade 7 or above. Vocational grades were similarly impressive, 78% of entries gained at least a Level 2 Pass and 22% at a Distinction or Distinction*.

The Maths department at Wallingford is one of the most talented and dedicated teams you will find anywhere. Mathematics has a record of significant success at all key stages. In 2024, 78% achieved at least a Grade 4, with 63% achieving Grade 5 or above. 29% of students achieved Grade 7 or above and overall value added was significantly higher than the national average. At A Level 65% achieved a Grade B or more with 45% achieving an A or A* grade, and in A Level Further Maths 83% achieved a Grade B or more with 67% achieving an A or A* grade.
