This year’s Merchant Taylors’ Company Photography Competition was introduced to students in October, where they were asked to capture the theme of “Energy” on camera.

Students and staff from Wallingford School have always done well in this competition, and this year, to quote Head of Expressive Arts, Mr Bowen, “We’ve won bigger than ever, ever before!!”

With winners in the Junior, Senior and Staff categories, as well as a runner-up in the Senior, all coming from Wallingford School, the Art Department are absolutely delighted!

Wallingford School is one of 17 schools in the Merchant Taylors’ family, making this a prestigious national competition, and our four winners are therefore national champions!
