Since receiving our new Duke of Edinburgh licence back in March, Mr Harpin has been collecting regular updates from some of our Year 9 students - they have been making progress on their 'D of E Bronze Award'.

Max, Year 9, is a prime example - he is raising money for Oxfam after making a 26 minute piece of music with his older brother Jan, Year 13. So far they've raised £621! Please see their JustGiving page:

Katie, Year 9, has embarked on a textiles project for her skill section and has been making her own range of tie dye clothing for her family - we think these are fantastic!

TIE DYE ! I started off bleach tie dying then decided to add some colour! I made at least one for each member of my family, they loved them. I used all different techniques to see which one I liked the most, such as swirls, stripes and dots.

I had some left over so... I decided not to waste it and invited 2 of my friends to help finish off the dye. We tie dyed 6 more tops, they were also very happy with the results...
