This morning we observe a minute’s silence in remembrance of HM Queen Elizabeth II. As a school we have been reflecting on her life and legacy this week as we mark a significant moment in our history.

Her life embraced duty and service and covered a remarkable period in world history. It is interwoven with our own lives through great events, iconic images and the shared memories which we will carry through our lives. There may never be a period like it again and we mark its dignified end with the respect which it is due.
