The MFL Department were delighted to find out this week that one of our ex-students, Emily Lock, was awarded a prize in the Translation Exchange competition run by Queen's College, Oxford for a translation she completed in lockdown when she was in Year 13. There were 295 entries into the competition so Emily did incredibly well to receive this prize and we are really proud of her. She is busy getting ready to study French and Spanish at Lancaster University and we wish her all the best!
