Thursday was an important day in school as the next generation of Wallingford School students joined us for the Transition Day for our rising Year 7 students. The multi-coloured uniforms from a range of Primary Schools are always great to see and, as I said to them at the end of the day, will be replaced by their Wallingford School uniform when they join us in September to form what will clearly be a great year group. They made a wonderful impression with their enthusiasm, manners and overall approach and we very much look forward to having them on board and part of our school community.
It has also been Year 9 Residential visits week and everyone is having a superb time. Our social media feeds have been full of photos and stories throughout the week and it is clear that some great experiences have been had and lasting memories have been made. Very well done to all.
It’s a big week next week with Sports Day on Tuesday and Year 12 Futures Week before the end of term comes into sight.
