As we reach the very hot end of another academic year, we have a great deal to celebrate, to remember and to reflect upon.
There have been the exams and the revision, the lessons that have opened eyes and minds, the new content and experiences and much more within classrooms across our school; beyond the classroom, there have been trips and visits to destinations in the town, across the country and into Europe and North Africa; there have been fixtures and competitions, concerts, performances and productions, expeditions and a whole lot more.
All of these elements are fundamental to the fabric of our school. Our school ethos is built around sending every young person into the world able and qualified and that belief drives and informs each and every decision and development we make as staff as we review and refine what we do as a school.
We are fortunate to have great students – young people of whom we are very proud – fantastic staff and supportive families who have the highest aspirations for their children. Thank you to you all for your contribution to a memorable academic year.
It’s time for a break now and we will return in September refreshed and revitalized and ready to do it all again.
Have a great summer Wallingford School.
